Life is hard. I am committed to providing authentic, compassionate, and insightful support as I journey with my clients through anger, grief, anxiety, relationship issues, self-esteem and confidence, burnout and a variety of other life stressors. I have a passion for creating a safe place for everyone who walks in to my office, regardless of what they are bringing with them. I use a client-centered approach to counselling, meaning I use a variety of counselling models and techniques to meet the unique needs of the client. I specifically pull from emotionally focused approaches, and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). I have close to a decade of experience working with youth and hold a Mental Health First Aid Certificate for Adults Who Interact with Youth. I have a special interest in supporting families to create long term, systemic change.
