I‘m Dana and I own and exclusively operate Dana Pilates and Dance. I have a B.A. from the University of Alberta, a dance diploma from GMCC, and Pilates certifications from BodyWorks Pilates, Edmonton, and Core Dynamics, Santa Fe, New Mexico, plus ongoing upgrading through Pilates and dance/bodywork workshops all over North America. I have been teaching dance since 1987 and Pilates since 2000. I teach a blend class. A classic-style Pilates session with warm-ups in dance, Syntonics, Feldenkrais and stretch therapy. I believe that fitness comes from within. Everyone has the ability to move and be fit regardless of health, size and personality. Everyone has the ability to enjoy movement and fitness. It just takes personalizing to each body, personality and day.
