About Arctic Children and Youth Foundation

Local solutions: We create our programs after listening to the feedback in our communities. Our programs are what locals are looking for. We connect southern ideas and funding to northern communities: Our board is made up of Inuit and northern residents who have grown up in Nunavut or lived here for over 20 years. We understand the clash in cultures that is trying to heal through reconciliation. We respect both traditional and non-traditional lifestyles. We serve children and youth in Nunavut: We are one of the only charities located in Nunavut serving Northern children and youth. We have created a strong network of partnerships with Inuit organizations, government departments and other community organizations.
