Integrative medicine is a fairly new concept that describes a growing movement taking place in many healthcare settings. The goal of integrative medicine is the holistic treatment, in other words, to treat the person as a whole, not just the disease. This is done by combining the best of today’s high-tech medicine with the best of non-traditional practices, like Reiki, massage, and acupuncture. Our intention, with energy therapies, is to help clear, balance and stimulate the human energy system, thereby promoting healing of the mind, body, and spirit. When the body’s energy system is in balance, it produces “wholeness” – physical, emotional, mental and spiritual well-being. We want to clarify that “Integrative” is different from “Alternative”, which means that we don’t want to replace conventional medicine, but complement the current treatment, incorporating the philosophy of a preventive approach to healthcare and also involves the patient as an active participant in their own healing. We believe that emotional and energetic wellbeing is key to creating sustainable changes in our physical health, and we want to work with you to help uncover your best self.
