Bowenwork® can assist in recovery from many conditions, from traumatic injury to chronic illness. Even though a practitioner may not realize it at the time of a session, often clients will notice that other conditions were addressed. These may be other than the one for which they originally sought consultation. These may include: improved digestion; elimination; circulation; and/or, sleep. Bowenwork® practitioners in Canada neither diagnose nor treat. We assess our client's condition and address client concerns by facilitating relaxation and balance in the body. As opposed to an alternative form of therapy, Bowenwork® is complimentary. It is not intended as a substitute for any conventional medical treatment.
