Aromatherapy is a unique method of achieving this freedom because of our physiology. Because our sense of smell is the only sense directly wired to the emotional centre of the brain, aromatherapy is able to help the brain process unresolved emotional trauma or issues. One of the beautiful things about this therapy is that it can occur on a subconscious level. It doesn’t require men to sit in a circle holding hands and singing kumbaya!
